Peter Tantius studied tropical agriculture, crop production, education, and marketing. He has 15 years of professional experience in Spain (marketing) and 10 years in Africa.
The advisory assignment focuses on strengthening agricultural techniques and value chains in Chimoio, Mozambique. Conducted in cooperation with Kubatsirana, the assignment promotes sustainable agriculture, seed production, and seed bank management while supporting project development and fundraising efforts. The initiative directly involves 45 individuals (23 female, 22 male) and indirectly benefits approximately 1,000 people (700 female, 300 male).The advisor enhances agricultural training by providing knowledge on organic coffee cultivation, agroforestry, and beekeeping. Kubatsirana is an ecumenical Christian organisation founded in 1995 to fight HIV. The association works with churches and community groups. Its projects cover health, agriculture, food security, economic empowerment of rural women, basic and specialised vocational training, social protection and natural disasters.
