Data Protection

horizont3000 takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this data protection declaration. It is generally possible to use our website without providing personal data. If personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail addresses) is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent. We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

This general data protection information applies to all online offers of horizont3000. This includes our website as well as external online presences (e.g. social media profiles). In addition to this general data protection information, there is also additional data protection information for special offers, in which we provide information about offer-specific data processing procedures, etc.

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy from time to time so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy, e.g. when introducing new services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.

  1. If you reach out to us via the contact form, we collect and store all the data that you disclose. It is mandatory to provide your first name, surname, e-mail address, a message subject and the message text. If you do not provide us with this data, we will not be able to answer your enquiry. At your request, we will send you a copy of your message. The legal basis for the processing of this data is our legitimate interest, namely the organisation of the response to your enquiry and the implementation of pre-contractual measures taken in response to your enquiry, as well as your consent.
In any case, we store this data until your enquiry and any follow-up questions have been finally dealt with. In the event of your consent or on the basis of a legitimate interest, we store it beyond this period.

  2. If you donate online via our website , we record and store the type of support you have chosen, the amount, the interval of your payment if applicable, your master and contact data (salutation, title, name, e-mail, postal address, date of birth). We also record the payment method you have chosen and your bank details. You are required to provide your title, name, e-mail address and postal address, as we need this data to process the donation. If you do not provide us with this data, we will not be able to accept your donation.
The legal basis is the fulfilment of the donation contract that you conclude with us and the fulfilment of tax obligations. In addition, we have a legitimate interest in the administration of donations made and the administration of active and former supporters.
In any case, we will store your data until your cancellation or for the duration of the statutory retention obligation under the Federal Fiscal Code.
Your donation payment(s) will be processed via direct debit from your bank or via external payment service providers. Your payment data is protected by a secure connection.

  3. After signing up for our newsletter, we store and process the e-mail address you provide, your first name and surname (and, if applicable, your title). You must provide your e-mail address, so that you can receive the newsletter. Knowing your name, means we can adress you correctly.
We analyse your use of the newsletter in order to better tailor the mailings to the interests and needs of our supporters. To do this, we use software developed in-house by datadialog. We use it to analyse the opening of the mailing and the clicks on image and text links. We do not analyse IP addresses.
For your protection, we store your IP address and the date of registration for the newsletter. This serves as proof in the event that a third party misuses your email address and subscribes to the newsletter without your (or the authorised person's) knowledge.
We store the data you provide for the duration of the newsletter subscription. The legal basis is your consent. Unless you object, we will also store your data beyond this period on the basis of our legitimate interest in direct advertising. Google AdWords

The users in the Google AdWords user pools remain anonymous and no conclusions can be drawn about personal data.
