The role prioritises guidance that partners can use independently, reducing reliance on ad-hoc support and supporting long-term sustainability in how digital tools are selected, maintained and used. The Advisor develops manuals, templates and guidelines for digital communication strategies, including newsletters, social media content and campaign planning, and provides coaching on planning, implementing, evaluating and refining communication activities. She strengthens knowledge management systems so information is captured, shared and reused, and it helps teams track audience engagement and learning needs to improve the quality and relevance of messages. Gender-sensitive content design supports women and young people to access information and participate in project activities without long travel. To reinforce responsible and compliant practice, the advisory trains staff on data protection and data security and supports partner organisations to draft data protection policies aligned with local regulations. It also provides consulting on the use of AI tools to improve data analysis, reporting and planning, and it introduces basic safeguards and usage rules so efficiency gains do not compromise privacy, accuracy or accountability.
