Details

  • The advisor strengthens knowledge management and organizational development within Horizont3000’s partner organizations in Mozambique. Many institutions lack awareness and structured approaches to knowledge management, limiting their effectiveness. The advisor introduces relevant concepts, methods, and tools, supporting interested partners in implementing and sustaining knowledge management processes through training, learning visits, and experience systematization. This contributes to improved institutional performance, enhancing service delivery for social change agents. Additionally, she organizes and facilitates sharing events, bringing together partner organizations, technical advisors, local NGOs, and government representatives to exchange knowledge and best practices.
  • Key objectives include strengthening the performance of Horizont3000’s partners by fostering learning processes, increasing access to innovative tools, and enhancing project management effectiveness. Expected results encompass improved internal knowledge management procedures in partner organizations, strengthened networking and knowledge exchange within the partner community, and increased efficiency in project management support, leading to enhanced progress and stronger partner engagement.
  • The advisor implements diverse activities to achieve these goals, including facilitating knowledge management workshops, supporting self-assessments and action plans, organizing learning visits, and ensuring engagement in KNOW-HOW3000 initiatives. A critical aspect of the role involves the planning and facilitation of sharing events, where stakeholders such as partner organisations, advisors, local NGOs, and government representatives engage in mutual learning and experience exchange. These activities foster stronger networks and create opportunities for innovation and collaboration in development work.
  • The advisor's work directly strengthens institutional processes in multiple partner organisations, promotes inter-organisational networking, and enhances the effectiveness and visibility of Horizont3000's programme in Mozambique. Through knowledge-sharing and improved organisational structures, the assignment aims to achieve long-term, sustainable improvements in development practice.
  • SDG targets: 16.6; 17.9; 17.16
