Each year, around 500 projects in 19 countries are supported and implemented by local partner organizations. These projects focus on children and adolescents, education, sustainable livelihoods, civil society and children and human rights, as well as a church in the service to the most vulnerable.
A cornerstone of its work is the annual Carol Singers’ campaign, where tens of thousands of children in Austria go from door to door singing and collecting donations in solidarity with people in the Global South.
The Catholic Children's Movement is also engaged in advocacy at national and international level and educational work in Austria. The organisation calls on people to take responsibility for a common world and to act in solidarity. The aim is to transform global economic and social structures towards more justice and sustainability.
