St. Bernadette School of Hearing Impaired Solar Installation

St. Bernadette School for the Hearing Impaired is the only special school in the region. The school previously had a solar system, but it is now non-functional because the batteries are worn out. The school currently relies entirely on the grid, which is expensive and difficult to sustain given limited support from the government and the Catholic Church. Upgrading the solar system will reduce costs and improve the learning environment, while supporting the well-being of students who depend on stable power for their daily needs. As one teacher shared, ‘Reliable energy will bring calm, confidence, and a better chance for every child to learn and grow.
