The assignment builds proposal writing and donor communication skills, supports institutional donor engagement including EU and bilateral calls, and helps each partner diversify beyond its current donor base through corporate and private sector fundraising.

Hirani Nehl is a capacity building specialist with over nine years of experience across East Africa, training NGO staff and government partners on digital and AI tools for project planning, monitoring, and content creation. She brings the same skills-transfer approach to resource mobilisation, having supported fundraising, proposal review, and donor communication for international organisations across Uganda, Ethiopia, and Mozambique. She's driven by helping local organisations build the systems and skills to sustain themselves long after a project ends.
The non-profit organisation educates on human and women's rights, preventing GBV, improving sexual reproductive health, and promoting gender equality. WORI has built a GBV shelter, trained male ambassadors to advocate against violence, and runs a menstrual health project.
